I am getting too long in the tooth to do the large projects with stained glass, but I loved the feeling of being lost in the creation of the project. “Zoning out”, I think they call it. When that happened I felt I did my best work. Now I sit and write Science Fiction novels. I still do my best work when I am reach that state. Not by taking drugs, but by meditating.
There are still many trays of coloured glass I think one day I will come out of the woodwork and create a small piece.
